Well according to more and more developers who are brave enough to admit it, 360 CAN handle those games, it is PS3 that can't seem to handle what 360 can do.
The only folks saying 360 can't do what PS3 can do is Sony, you fanboys, and the biased media. Developers seem to think otherwise, and so do technical professionals. (I read a few articles on CPU/hardware engineering sites)
I am a huge PS3 fan pal. I still plan to own one ASAP. But that does not mean I should have to give up all common sense and reason, and sell my soul to Sony Corp.
As for the 360 being out longer, that is meaningless since I believe what I wrote above, its not about showing off the graphical capabilities of the 360 with Microsoft, its about making relatively fast money.

Even though 360 maybe capable of what the PS3 is capable of, most 360 devs will use Unreal to get games done because its quick cheap and easy, most bang for the buck.

I think being a multiplatform console owner is the best way to go at this point. I mean I love me some Playstation but as a gamer there is no way Im sitting out the 360 this gen.
I just wish I had the cash to own both right now instead of having to wait for price drops.

Can we just install updates later or are they mandatory when you turn on the console? When I get my PS3 I think I would just rather install the updates after Im done with the console for the night.
I had no idea the current ID was so bland and useless. I also had no idea you had to manually enter your trophies, or install your updates on PS3, this is 2009 wtf?

should not discontinue the PS2 because right now it is competing with the 360 arcade. If they drop the PS2 those buyers will go to the Arcade, not the PS3.
People in the market for a 150 to 200 dollar console don't just go pickup 400 to 500 dollar consoles on a whim.

What the heck are you talking about, we are seeing more titles than ever skip PS3 because they are low budget games that would not generate a return if ported to PS3 due to its high cost of development.

I have read a number of articles written by people who have no loyalties to either MS or Sony, and people who are not even all that into gaming. These experts all said that 360 is either more powerful or equal to PS3. Developers also say this when they have the luxury of being honest or when they slip up.
